Qld: Gun cabinet stolen from Brisbane home

Police say a gun cabinet containing 14 rifles was stolen from a Brisbane home some
time between 2pm (AEST) last Thursday and 4pm (AEST) yesterday.

A police spokeswoman says the silver gun cabinet was taken from the home in Leonard
Street, Woolloongabba.

The offenders forced a kitchen window to enter the home and ransacked cupboards in
several bedrooms.

They also stole two watches and a ruby and diamond ring.

The rifles included five Winchester lever-action, two Lee Enfield bolt-action, a Marlin
lever-action, a Sturm Ruger bolt-action, a BSA Cadet lever-action and a BRNO bolt-action.

No ammunition was stolen.
